Parents

Parenting Class

The core curriculum is designed for parents with children from the ages of 15 months through the preteens. It covers a wide range of important parenting topics such as the priority of the husband and wife relationship, how to express love to your child, your child's conscience, discipline, principles of obedience, building a healthy family, and much more. This class is for all parents, parents-to-be, and grandparents.

Women

Habits of the Heart Bible Study

Habits of the Heart is a women's Bible study that meets every Wednesday throughout the school year at Zionsville Fellowship. Morning and evening studies are available. The time includes a large group lecture and a small group time of discussion. Childcare is provided during the morning study.

Women's Discipleship

Discipleship groups are available to women and consist of an intensive one to two-year commitment. Women meet once a week and study theology, doctrine, and history as well as the family and culture.

Women's Retreat

Each February, our women are encouraged to attend this annual retreat usually held in Brown County State Park. The weekend is filled with teaching, worship, small group discussions, and hiking in the park or walking the streets of Nashville. These two days are important in the development and nurturing of relationships.

Titus II Women

Titus II is a group of women, age 50 or better, who have formed a ministry that serves the younger women of the church. Because there is an ongoing need for women in our Body to experience supportive encouragement, and because the Lord has given ZF a rich resource of mature women to draw from, Titus II Women use their experience and their own life circumstances to nurture what is right in the lives of younger women.

Men

Men's Retreat

The weekend before Thanksgiving, men and their sons, aged 13 and over, are invited to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp for a weekend of fun, teaching, and worship. Fun activities include paintball and basketball. Sign-ups begin in October for this mid-November retreat.

Men's Bible Study & Discipleship

From time to time, we offer Bible study groups for men that meet on a weekly basis. In addition, discipleship groups are available for men and consist of an intensive two-year commitment. Men meet once a week and learn about church history, theology, and doctrine. In addition, they examine their testimony, calling, style of influence, and spiritual gifts.

Fishing Trip

Men who love fishing will love traveling to Minnesota for an excellent week of fishing! We will fish at the Northwest Angle which is a detached portion of the U.S. that can only be reached by driving through Canada! All men and their sons (aged 12 & up) are invited. Our wish is to not only enjoy the beautiful surroundings and catch a few fish, but to grow closer to God through this experience. What an incredible opportunity for fathers to draw close to their sons. Guests need not be members of ZF.

Youth

Youth Small Groups

Students who would like to be in a group of their peers for the purposes of studying God's Word and developing accountability are encouraged to get involved. These groups, which are led by adults, meet in homes and are key in building community, and sustaining healthy, lasting relationships.

Weekly Youth Groups

Youth ministry at ZF hosts a weekly gathering of youth and their friends during the school year. This is a time of community building and fellowship. A variety of activities will promote these objectives among students. In addition, there are topical discussions, opportunities for outreach to unchurched students, worship, emphasis on time with families, and rest. Watch for current schedules.

Senior High Ski Trip

Each winter, the SrHi youth of Zionsville Fellowship participate in a ski retreat to southwest Michigan. The purpose of the weekend is to build community among our SrHi youth. Because we are highly committed to inter-generational church life (that is, enjoying church experiences alongside people of all ages, not just youth), we strongly encourage adults and families to join us as well.

Missions

Students give of their time and talents each summer during a week long missions experience. The days are long and hot, yet evenings are amazingly rewarding as students and adults gather to reflect on the day's work and to celebrate the goodness of God through worship.

Jr High Retreats

Jr. Highers are invited to a week long trip each summer as well as special weekend retreats during the school year. These retreats are designed to create a significant spiritual experience as students and adults live life in accordance with Acts 2.

Senior Adults

O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Loving Saints)

This ministry has many goals for reaching older adults within the body and community. We strive to get as many older adults involved in one or more of the main areas of interest, such as support for those in need, shut-ins, fellowship, and education. This past year, the OWLS provided minor handyman services to widows, single moms and elderly in our congregation as well as visitation to the sick and the homebound.
