ZF Leadership Updates

"On The Hill" Through June 27

We will be meeting outdoors June 27th, weather permitting. Parking attendants will direct you to parking spaces on the west side and behind our building. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. If it looks like rain, a decision about moving indoors will be made no later than 8 AM on Sunday morning. Should we need to move indoors, we will say so here on the website, or you can sign up here to be notified via email. Coffee and donuts will be available in the mornings!

New to ZF? Bringing Children?

Our Sunday School is now fully open for all ages, Nursery to grade 8. KidCheck will be set up on the northeast corner of the parking lot with attendants there to help you register your children and print off tags. Our baby nursery is open beginning at 9:45 AM. Pre-school children through grade 8 are dismissed for Sunday School around 10:30 AM. They will line up with their teachers on the northeast side of the parking lot and be escorted inside. Parents will pick up their children from their classrooms directly after the service is over at 11:15 AM.

Setting Up KidCheck In Advance

If you are interested in getting a head start: Download the KidCheck app from Google Play or App store to your phone. Create your account adding the appropriate information for each child. On the drive to church, you can click the "Check In" tab and then "Start a New Check-In". Select the children to be checked in and "submit". Your child and guardian tags will print once you get within close range of the KidCheck printer stations.

Face Coverings

Facecoverings are not required outdoors or indoors. The current CDC guidelines recommend you consider wearing a mask when in large, indoor events. The Elders provide the following considerations:

Since masks help prevent the transmission of respiratory droplets being passed person-to-person, consider wearing a mask when interacting with others, i.e. on the way in and out of the building.

Since more rigorous breathing produces more respiratory droplets, consider wearing a mask while singing.

For those who desire to attend in person on Sunday morning, but are uncomfortable being with those not wearing masks, we have dedicated Fellowship Hall for you with livestreaming. Masks are required in this area during the service.

The pandemic continues to provide an opportunity for Christians to demonstrate the fruit of the spirit to one another. As always, we welcome feedback. Please reach out to the elders at elders@zionsvillefellowship.org.
