MOMS (Making Our Motherhood Significant) Begins September 10

MOMS is a gathering of mothers from Zionsville Fellowship and the surrounding community who get togther at ZF one morning a month, from 9:15-11:15 AM to relax and enjoy adult conversation, inspirational speakers, and uninterrupted time with other mothers. In addition, we will also meet once a month for an outing with children (park date, orchard visit, etc.) The goal is to connect with other moms and be refreshed by the hope of the gospel.

Childcare will be provided this year. Register HERE. For more information you can email  Jenna Lewis or call her at (574) 536-2595.

Habits of the Heart | Begins September 8

Habits of the Heart Bible study is a ministry to women at ZF and the surrounding community. We offer a morning and an evening session. We meet at Zionsville Fellowship church on Wednesday mornings from 9:15-11:15 AM and in the evenings from 7:00-8:15 PM. Limited childcare will be offered for the morning session. Our time together will vary but can include video and live teaching, singing, and small group discussions. If there is enough interest we will explore the idea of a Zoom online session.

We will begin on September 8 and will study 1st and 2nd Samuel. The cost for the entire year is $30 which includes two spiral bound workbooks. Please register  ASAP so that we can order the books in plenty of time. Feel free to contact Rhoda Nyce with any questions.

Biblical Workshop for Women with Nancy Guthrie
August 27-28 at ZF

Do you ever read the Bible and have a sense that there is a deeper meaning or significance to what you are reading that you can’t quite figure out? Or do you sometimes wonder why some people have been able to draw things out of a passage in the Bible that you didn’t see until they pointed it out? If so, we hope you’ll make plans to come to a Biblical Theology Workshop for Women with teacher, author, Bible study leader, and podcast speaker Nancy Guthrie. Our aim will be to increase our Bible skills so that rather than being bored by, or intimidated by the Bible, we’ll become more intrigued by it, moved by it, more confident that we’re grasping what it is communicating to us.

This is a co-hosted event partnering with College Park Church, which will take place at Zionsville Fellowship Church. It is quite likely that this nationally promoted event will sell out. Registration opens July 1, so mark your calendars and register early.

Over three sessions, we’ll review the key events of the Bible’s story and the major sections of the Bible. Nancy will demonstrate telling the story of the Bible through the lens of one of its important themes. We’ll work together on tracing a few themes through the various sections of the Bible. Then we’ll look at the opening of each of the Gospels and discover how a growing understanding of major biblical themes adds to our understanding when we see those themes arise in specific passages of the Bible.

The three sessions, one on Friday night and two on Saturday morning August 27-28, will be energetic, interactive, and fun. For more information or to register, click here. Contact rachelmnast@gmail.com if you are interested in being a volunteer.
