Great White North | january 13-16

Great White North is a high school winter retreat held at Fort Wilderness in Wisconsin and organized by the Zionsville Fellowship high school ministry. The purpose of this retreat is to help students explore who Jesus is and consider what it means to follow him, all while enjoying the beautiful and fun-filled setting of the Northwoods.

This year the dates for the trip are Jan. 13-16 and the cost will be $275 per student, with additional family members receiving a reduced rate of $175.

We are making some changes to how we do registration this year. For a number of years, we have not had enough space to accommodate all the students who want to attend GWN. When registration opened to the public last year, all the available spots filled up in less than ten minutes, even while many others were still trying to complete the online registration form. The situation was similar in 2019.

This year we would like to take a different approach to registration, one that we hope will make the process less frenzied, less arbitrary, and more intentional: we are going to ask students to apply to attend Great White North. As always, we will try to make room for as many people as we possibly can.

Here's how the process will work:

  • Fill out the application.
  • The deadline for students to complete their applications is Friday, November 11.
  • We will let applicants know their status no later than November 30. At that point, students who have secured a spot will need to register and submit a deposit. Others may elect to be placed on a waiting list.
