Senior Adults (O.W.L.S./Older Wiser Loving Saints)

For those 55 years of age and older, the OWLS provide social and spiritual enrichment opportunities including excursions to nearby points of interest, concerts, and special luncheons. Transportation is often provided.

The OWLS also engage in multi-generational service activities such as the Neighborhood Fellowship Gift Wish project and summer Vacation Bible School. Several women in the group gather together and knit prayer shawls to present to the sick and homebound.

They take a break in the winter months, but watch for the ZF Midweek for lots of fun events in the spring, summer and fall.  The OWLS lunch bunch, which meets every Tuesday at 12:00 noon and ends around 1:00 pm.  It’s a great time to chat over a meal that you bring to this social event, along with your favorite drink. We cover amazing topics and discover the talent within our church.
