Highland Lakes Camp, 1591 West Highland Lakes Road, Martinsville, IN 46151
All men and boys 13 and older are invited to our annual men's retreat to deepen relationships with the Lord and each other. We encourage you to come and connect with other men through conversation, biblical teaching, worship, and fun. We enjoy relaxed discussions over meals, ample time to enjoy the beauty of fall, an atmosphere of unhurried friendship, and competitive activities for all ages.
Theme: Fight the Good Fight
Building on our 2025 men’s ministry theme of Fight the Good Fight: The World, the Flesh, and the Devil, guest speaker Dave Newton will explore “The Gospel's Counterintuitive Approach to Fighting the Good Fight". One of the compelling themes of the Bible is men in battle. Moses was locked in a battle of the wills with the Pharaoh. Joshua was told to be strong and courageous as he entered the occupied Promised Land. Elijah was in conflict with Ahab and Jezebel and the prophets of Baal. The Apostle Paul embattled in chains and hardship from Roman persecution. Scripture calls disciples of Jesus to ‘fight the good fight’. Our men’s ministry in 2025 has highlighted our battles with three enemies of our souls: the world, flesh, and the devil. Dave Newton will examine the Gospel’s impact on the ‘good fight’.
